SP 95 E10 - new gaz
In my area all the gaz station give this new gazoline : 90% gaz and 10% ethanol. On the website of the french government they say that this gaz fit for all BMW motocycle model, Honda since 01/01/1993, and Triomph since 01/01/1997.
Did someone use this gaz ?

It is all we have here Oliver, and over time, they say it will cause issues with the engine because it leaves small amounts of water in the system...so it can effect the plugs and the carburetor .....of course this has caused additive Companies to make products now to add to your gas, like Sea Foam, which works well to get ride of the moisture.

Do they tax you less for the alcohol or is it the same tax as real gas? All forms of alcohol have less energy than gasoline so your mileage will be less using the blend than if you were using 100% real gas!

Hi Moose,
unfortunately, the taxes are the same . And with our Majesty Sarkozy the first, this wouldn't change .
To stay on a thechnic view, Yamaha disrecommand hardly to use the SP95E10 on their models, including the most recents... (problem with seals and hoses).
